RefundRadar ("we", "us", or "our") operates the RefundRadar service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.

1. Information We Collect

When you connect your Shopify store to RefundRadar, we collect:

Your Shopify store domain and basic store information
Order data including order ID, order value, customer email, shipping and billing addresses, payment gateway, and line items
Your account email address used to sign up for RefundRadar
Usage data such as how many orders have been scored

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide the RefundRadar service — specifically to score orders for refund risk
Send you email alerts when high-risk orders are detected
Display your order history and risk scores in your dashboard
Track your usage against your plan limits
Improve our AI risk scoring models
Communicate with you about your account and our service

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely in our database hosted by Supabase. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. We do not sell your data to third parties under any circumstances.

Order data is retained for as long as your account is active. When you cancel your account, you may request deletion of your data by emailing us at miles@refundradar.io.

4. Third-Party Services

RefundRadar uses the following third-party services to operate:

Shopify — to receive order data via webhooks
Anthropic (Claude API) — to analyze orders and generate risk scores
Supabase — for database storage
Stripe — for payment processing. We never store your credit card details
Resend — for sending email alerts
Clerk — for authentication

Each of these services has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

5. Customer Data

RefundRadar processes customer order data on behalf of merchants. We act as a data processor for this data — we only use it to provide the risk scoring service and do not use customer data for any other purpose. We do not contact your customers directly.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the data we hold about your store and orders
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Export your data

7. Cookies

RefundRadar uses only essential cookies necessary for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of RefundRadar after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
